About

Hi!
I am a designer, thinker, and explorer based between Seoul and New York.

Driven by curiosity, I discover patterns
in everyday life and transform them into visual experiences that offer new ways
of seeing the world.

Inspired by the phrase
“Objects in mirror are closer than they appear,”
this zine explores the hidden worlds within everyday objects.

Through magnified observations, familiar surfaces are transformed into unfamiliar landscapes, inviting viewers to look closer and reconsider what they often overlook.

Sensory Projection

Client_Gallery Planet
Format_Adobe Suite (Illustrator, InDesign)
Date_2025

<Sensory Projection> explores how artists Kim Shin-ae, Kim Suyeon, and Park Hyungjin perceive and reinterpret the world through their own senses and experiences.

Through diverse mediums—including form, weather, and the changing colors of nature—the exhibition examines the intersections of sensation and information, time and environment, and the material and immaterial, suggesting that our perception of reality may be a projection shaped by individual experience rather than an objective
truth.

<Blooming Made> Artbook

Format_Adobe Suite (Illustrator, InDesign)
Date_2025

Designed the exhibition catalog for
<Blooming Made> by artist Hur Boree at Gallery Planet (May–July 2025).

The publication was designed to seamlessly connect the artist’s inspiration from Jeju’s landscapes with her artistic outcomes, while emphasizing the intricate stitched
details of each work.

Through carefully considered image placement and pacing, the catalog allows readers to experience both the artist’s source of inspiration and the tactile craftsmanship embedded in the work.

Crosswalk

Format_Adobe Suite (Illustrator, InDesign)
Date_2025

<Crosswalk> reflects the encounter between two artists with very different visual approaches.

The identity is built around a pixel-based logo system, combining the digital language of artist Hyunseo Cho, who works with AI, and the fragmented, glass-like image structure of artist
Jungin Kim.

Everyday Handcraft Abstract

Client_Gallery Planet
Format_Adobe Suite (Illustrator, InDesign)
Date_2025

For the exhibition <Everyday Handcraft Abstract>,
I created the visual identity by abstracting the artists’ material processes into graphic elements.

Drawing from Jung Jikseong’s iridescent mother-of-pearl surfaces and artist Hur Boree’s repetitive stitching and mending, the design develops a visual language of layered lines and fragmented planes.

The poster highlights the intersection of painting and craft, reflecting the physical gestures embedded in the artists’ works while emphasizing their materiality and hand-crafted qualities.

Orchestra Instrumental Composition and
Chamber Music

This editorial project visualizes how different instrument combinations form various types of chamber music.

The layout combines free-form geometric graphics with structured infographics to express both the artistic and informational aspects of the content.

Seoul Art Center
Rebranding

Nowadays, in Korea, there are big hypes for the cultural, exhibitional experiences in young generation.

Due to this phenomenon, I rebranded the most famous Art Center in Seoul.

The goal was to make classical performances and exhibitions feel more approachable, while preserving the refined character of the center.

The main tagline is "The Heart of Art,"
and the logo is designed to reflect this concept, drawing its form from the shape of a heart to symbolize the center of Seoul’s art scene and its role as the heart of art in the city.

This project brings together works by four Korean female artists and translates their artistic worlds into a daily calendar experience.

I also designed a notebook featuring the etching technique of artist Miro Kim and an art book based on the narrative universe of artist Juwon Yoon.

Visual identity design for K-UM Gallery,
a contemporary art space that promotes open interpretation and personal engagement with art.

The logotype integrates the forms of “K” and “UM” to express connection, openness, and accessibility.

ERE Gallery Week

BFA Graduate Thesis 1
Format_Adobe Suite (PhotoShop, Illustrator, InDesign)
Date_2022

Inspired by the Korean word ‘ERE’, meaning “seven days,” this project develops the visual identity for a week-long art festival held in Jongno, Seoul.

The design system reflects the open, walkable experience of the festival, allowing visitors to explore galleries freely across the city.
